Q. CAN I COLOR MY EXTENTIONS?


A. Yes! Kay Kay offers 100% raw, unprocessed Indian and South East Asian hair that can be colored or bleached to any desired level. However, we do always recommend having it professionally colored to maintain the hair's integrity and longevity. 

Q. DO KAY KAY HAIR EXTENTIONS REQUIRE MAINTENANCE?

A. Absolutely! Treat our raw hair bundles like your natural  hair. We recommend using high quality, sulfate free shampoo and conditioner to keep the hair soft, manageable, and long lasting. Be sure to follow a regular hair care routine for the best results. Check out out hair care guide for tips!


Q. HOW LONG WILL KAY KAY COSMETICS HAIR LAST?

A. With proper care, our 100% raw hair can last for years. We do not place an expiration date on our bundles. Treat them like your natural own hair! Please note that excessive heat or chemical processing can affect the longevity and natural pattern of the hair.


Q. DOES KAY KAY COSMETICS HAIR SHED?

A. All wefted hair may experience minimal shedding, especially if the wefts are cut during installation. At Kay Kay Cosmetics, each bundle is doubled wefted to help reduce shedding. For best results, we recommend having your stylist stitch and knot around the wefts, not through them, during installation to maintain the integrity of the hair.

Its also normal to lose a few strands during detangling process just like the natural hair. With proper care and maintenance, you'll enjoy long lasting, beautiful hair with minimal shedding. 

 

Q. HOW OFTEN DO YOU RETOCK?

A. We try to restock once or twice a month.

 


Q. WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

A. Our Processing time is 1-7 business days, to get your order processed and shipped out. Order processing begins as soon as an order is submitted. We ship hair daily so it may not take the full 7 business days to process your order.

Shipping Time: It will take 1-4 business days to receive your order from the shipping carrier once they receive it, which is after processing time is complete. 

If you order during a Kay Kay Cosmetics Hair Sale, processing time for  orders can take up to 5-10 business days. Your order will ship after processing time is completed. 

Need hair fast? Select Express Shipping. ( Normally 1-2 business day is guaranteed.) If you select express shipping during a sale, your hair will ship out in 24-72 business hours. After that, you will receive it in 1-2 business days.



Q. MY ITEMS ARE LOST OR STOLEN, HOW DO I GET A REFUND

A. We are is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items. The customer is
responsible for filing a claim with the courier to inquire about a refund. The customer must contact the courier directly and follow their procedures for a potential refund.

If you selected Route Protect at checkout your package is also insured from loss, damage, or theft. You must file a claim through Route either via their app or their website.

Once approved they will refund you your subtotal to place a new order.
